Holy Week store hours bared
In solemn observance of the Holy Week, Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta Mall, Plaza Marcela, Alturas-Talibon, and Alturas-Tubigon are open, except on Holy Thursday, April 6; and Good Friday, April 7; when all stores are closed wholeday.
On Holy Thursday, Island City Mall and Alturas Mall supermarkets are open until 3 pm only, while its department stores are until 2 pm. Plaza Marcela supermarket and all tenants are until 3 pm; while Alta Citta supermarket and Med+ pharmacy are until 9 pm, but its tenants are until 3 pm only. Alturas-Talibon and Alturas-Tubigon are open until 2 pm and 3 pm, respectively.
All the malls and stores of the Alturas Group of Companies will resume regular operating hours on Black Saturday, April 8.
For moviegoers, Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall are both closed on Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Regular showing will resume on Black Saturday with the nationwide premiere of “Here Comes the Groom” and “Apag”, two of the 8 official entries of the 1st Summer Metro Manila Film Festival. The top-grossing action-thriller “John Wick 4” is still showing until next week.
Jollibee also bares its store hours on Holy Thursday, as follows: Jollibee-Island City Mall (7 am-3 pm), Jollibee-Alturas Mall (6:30 am-3 pm), Jollibee-Alta Citta (6 am-12 midnight), Jollibee-Plaza Marcela (7 am-3 pm), Jollibee-CPG Drive Thru (6 am-11 pm), Jollibee-Panglao (6 am-10 pm), and Jollibee-Talibon (7 am-3 pm).
On Good Friday, Jollibee-Alta Citta is open from 9 am-12 midnight, Jollibee-CPG Drive Thru from 9 am-11 pm, and Jollibee-Panglao from 8 am-9 pm. The rest of the Jollibee stores are closed. Normal business hours resume on Black Saturday.
Meanwhile, on Easter Sunday, April 9, customers at Island City Mall can join the Easter Egg Hunt for every minimum purchase worth P1,000 in any department and tenant shops of the mall. Just present the receipt from April 1 to 8, at the A1 Card Desk. Only the first 150 customers who register can join the egg hunting.
Other Easter Sunday activities at the ICM Activity Center are Easter Bunny Costume Contest and Egg Games. Just scan the QR link to register.
