Taylor Sheesh at Island City Mall
Boholanos will truly experience the electrifying feel of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour as the famed impersonator will perform live at the ICM Activity Center this coming Thursday, October 26, at 12 noon.
A drag persona of 28-year old Mac Coronel who hails from Antipolo, Rizal, Sheesh has skyrocketed in popularity on social media in recent months after videos of her shows that emulate the Eras tour in the malls of Metro Manila and Cebu went viral. It was reported by American music magazine Rolling Stone in the mainstream media and received international coverage in July.
Later, another 5,000 fans watched Sheesh performed in Taguig and the videos of the event accumulated thousands of views on the video-sharing platform, Tik Tok.
In August 2023, Sheesh broke the record for the highest number of attendees in Lipa, Batangas with 10,000 concert-goers, followed by another performance at Trinoma in Quezon City, her biggest crowd so far with more than 10,000 attendees.
Just last month, Sheesh was featured on the episode of “Good Morning America,” a top-rated US morning television program.
A graduate of computer technology and used to work as a call center agent in BGC, Taguig, Sheesh has been professionally impersonating Swift since 2017. He is expected to lip-sync some of Swift’s biggest hits such as “You Belong With Me,” “Love Story,” and more.
